H World Group Ltd (NASDAQ: HTHT) reported a third-quarter FY22 sales increase of 16.2% year-on-year to $575.00 million, beating the consensus of $565.44 million.Segment revenue: Legacy-Huazhu rose 7.7% to RMB3.2 billion, and Legacy-DH jumped 58.2% to RMB932 million.The occupancy rate for all the Legacy-Huazhu hotels in operation was 76.0% versus 71.9% in 3Q21, and Blended RevPAR was RMB193 versus RMB177 in 3Q21.The operating income for the quarter was RMB500 million or $70 million, and the operating margin expanded Y/Y from 2.0% to 12.2%.The company held RMB5.2 billion ($728 million) in cash and equivalents as of September 30, 2022.Adjusted EBITDA was RMB491 million or $69 million versus RMB385 million last year.Adjusted loss per ADS of $(0.17) beat the analyst consensus of $(0.66).For Q4, Huazhu expects revenue to increase 7% to 11% Y/Y or to decline 1% to 5% if excluding DH.As of September 30, 2022, H World's worldwide hotel network in operation totaled 8,402 hotels and 797,489 rooms, including 126 hotels from DH.Price Action: HTHT shares are trading higher by 0.90% at $33.64 in premarket on the last check Monday.
