Those who invested in Adyen (AMS:ADYEN) five years ago are up 76%
It might be of some concern to shareholders to see the Adyen N.V. (AMS:ADYEN) share price down 25% in the last month. But at least the stock is up over the last five years. However we are not very impressed because the share price is only up 76%, less than the market return of 97%. While the returns over the last 5 years have been good, we do feel sorry for those shareholders who haven't held shares that long, because the share price is down 40% in the last three years.
So let's investigate and see if the longer term performance of the company has been in line with the underlying business' progress.
