Chipmakers, including Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company Limited TSM and United Microelectronics Corporation UMC halted some operations in order to inspect their facilities, as well as to reallocate employees. The $625 billion worth TSMC is indispensable for the global tech industry.
