The board of Hancock Whitney Corporation (NASDAQ:HWC) has announced that the dividend on 14th of June will be increased to $0.40, which will be 33% higher than last year's payment of $0.30 which covered the same period. Despite this raise, the dividend yield of 2.6% is only a modest boost to shareholder returns.
