Welltower Inc. stock rises Wednesday, outperforms market

The stock's rise snapped a two-day losing streak. Welltower Inc. closed $3.58 short of its 52-week high ($89.80), which the company achieved on July 16th.
The stock outperformed some of its competitors Wednesday, as Ventas Inc. remained unchanged, Healthpeak Properties Inc. rose 2.37% to $34.99, and Healthcare Trust of America Inc. rose 1.05% to $34.72. Trading volume (2.3 M) eclipsed its 50-day average volume of 1.9 M.
