A six-story, multi-tenant office building in suburban Chicago is for sale by its institutional owner for $45 million.
The 196,000-square-foot building at 909 Davis St. in Evanston won the 2022 Outstanding Building of Year Award by the Building Owners and Managers Association of Chicago and is owned by Wakefield, Massachusetts-based Franklin Street Properties, according to Jim Postweiler, executive managing of New York-based Newmark Group Inc.
He added that the building is an attractive buy because it is "located downtown and has easy access to public transportation particularly the Chicago Transit Authority’s Red Line train."
The property is 93% occupied, Postweiler said, with tenants including Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Industrious, Aptinyx, North Shore University Health, Merrick Pet Care, Medpoint Digital and Athletico.
