TechnipFMC PLC stock outperforms competitors despite losses on the day
Shares of TechnipFMC PLC slumped 0.31% to $6.35 Wednesday, on what proved to be an all-around mixed trading session for the stock market, with the S&P 500 Index rising 0.23% to 4,701.46 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average falling 0.03% to 35,804.38. The stock's fall snapped a two-day winning streak. TechnipFMC PLC closed $4.35 short of its 52-week high ($10.70), which the company reached on June 8th.
Despite its losses, the stock outperformed some of its competitors Wednesday, as NOV Inc. fell 0.39% to $12.87 and Oil States International Inc. fell 0.91% to $5.43. Trading volume (3.8 M) remained 1.7 million below its 50-day average volume of 5.5 M.
